BJP Launched Residential AC Technician Training Program
Jepara, 6th October 2022 – PT Bhumi Jati Power (hereinafter “BJP”), jointly with Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat Puna Kawan and the Cooperation, SMEs, Manpower and Transmigration Agency of Jepara Regency (hereinafter “Disnaker Jepara”), conducted opening ceremony of Residential Air Conditioning Technician Training Program (“Training Program”) at Vocational Training Centre of Jepara Regency (hereinafter “BLK Jepara”). This Training Program is planned to be conducted in 160 training hours during 20 calendar days commencing on 3rd October 2022 up to 28th October 2022 with 15 participants of youth villagers from Tubanan Village, Kaliaman Village, and Bondo Village. BJP conducts this Training Program as a part of BJP’s CSR program in order to assist local community to develop their competency and increase their opportunity to access better livelihood.
This opening speech of Training Program was conducted by Mr. Samiaji as Head of Disnaker Jepara. He expressed his gratitude to BJP for supporting community development program around PLTU. He also delivered message to the trainees that through this training, the trainees can obtain sufficient skill to create their own business activity. Mr. Samiaji stated his expectation that BJP continue to conduct another training program to improve community competence in facing global competition.
Mr. Ari Wibawa, CSR Manager of BJP, conveyed that currently, the utilization of Air Conditioning (AC) in urban areas and offices are significantly increased. However, the number of AC technicians is still limited. This is one of the considerations for BJP in choosing to organize this Training Program. He also expressed his hope that the participants could take advantage of this vast opportunity.
After completing the training, the trainees will be divided into 3 groups and each group will receive equipment to start an AC repair service business.
BJP will continue to support competency improvement for the community through other training programs.
