BJP Obtained Platinum Alignment Indonesia Green Awards (IGA) and Best Sustainability Leader for the Best 100 La Tofi ESG Rating, for the 17th La Tofi Award 2026
Jakarta, 21 January 2026. As a testament to its continuous efforts and commitment to delivering impactful CSR sustainable programs, PT Bhumi Jati Power (hereinafter “BJP”) has successfully obtained the 2 (two) awards in the Indonesia Green Award (IGA)-17th La Tofi 2026, which was held by La Tofi School of Social Responsibility.
In total, 73 CSR innovation programs have been submitted by many companies across various industrial sectors. For this occation, the BJP joined the category of nature conservation tourism development through the implementation of the integrated coastal conservation program, which consists of an environmental campaign, optimization of the local waste bank, and establishment of economic development through the Seaweed Program in Bondo Village. The project name submitted by the BJP is OMBAK Hijau, or abbreviated from “Olah Sampah Pesisir dan Budidaya Rumput Laut Menuju Kawasan Wisata Hijau Ombak Mati,” or Coastal Waste Management and Seaweed Cultivation Program Towards the Green Tourism Area of Ombak Mati Beach.
This awarding event has been initiated by La Tofi School of Social Responsibility since 2008 and engages with the Ministry of Environment of Indonesia and several CSR expertise institutions in Indonesia. The event itself was held at the Kempinski Hotel Jakarta on Wednesday (21/01/2026). The award ceremony agenda was attended by Mr. Taichi Ichise (President Director of BJP), Mr. Warhana Sumirta (GM HRGA & CSR of BJP), and Mr. Ari Wibawa (CSR Manager of BJP).
BJP is honoured with Platinum Alignment (with an index of 87,36), Indonesia Green Awards (IGA), and Best Sustainability Leader for the Best 100 La Tofi ESG Rating for BJP President Director, Mr. Taichi Ichise, for his exemplary leadership and strong dedication to corporate social responsibility in the surrounding operational area.
This achievement confirmed the BJP’s commitment to delivering sustainable community empowerment programs that have a tangible and positive impact on the wider community.
