Proven CSR Commitment: PT Bhumi Jati Power Earns a 5-Star Rating at the 2026 TOP CSR Awards
Jakarta, May 25th, 2026 – PT Bhumi Jati Power (BJP) has once again demonstrated excellence in the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) by achieving the prestigious 5-Star Rating in the TOP CSR Awards 2026, which was organized by TopBusiness Magazine.
In addition, Mr. Taichi Ichise, President Director of BJP, was honored with the TOP Leader on CSR Commitment Award in recognition of his strong leadership and commitment to supporting the implementation of the CSR Program, which contributes to the sustainability of the company’s operation. The award ceremony was attended by Mr. Taichi Ichise and Mr. Yudistira, who represented BJP’s Board of Directors, Mr. Warhana Sumirta as the BJP’s General Manager of HRGA & CSR, and Mr. Ari Wibawa as the BJP’s CSR Manager.
This achievement marks the third consecutive year that the BJP has been recognized at the TOP CSR Awards. Unlike the previous year, in 2026, the BJP joined the Corporate Level category, which required participants to demonstrate their corporate strategies, governance approaches, and evidence of how the Business Process and CSR initiatives are aligned to support the sustainability of the company’s operation.
Since 2017, TopBusiness Magazine has been organizing this event in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, along with several institutions specializing in corporate social responsibility (CSR) in Indonesia. The awards ceremony was attended by representatives from various industries across Indonesia, with 224 companies successfully receiving recognition after passing a rigorous evaluation process.
In the TOP CSR Awards 2026, the BJP took the theme “From Strategy to Impact: Integrating CSR and ESG into Business Process Operation”. During the assessment presentation, BJP presented its strategy and policy for aligning ESG principles and SDGs with its business operations to ensure the smooth CSR Implementation in supporting the sustainable company’s business activities.
At the presentation phase, the BJP also showcased a flagship program titled “The Sustainable Seaweed Cultivation Program”. With the main theme “Empowering the Coastal Community for a Bright Future,” the program has been running since 2022 and has evolved into an integrated Creating Shared Value (CSV)-based initiative that includes seaweed cultivation, fisheries sector development, and the processing of derivative products within a holistic community empowerment ecosystem. Beyond strengthening the economic resilience of coastal communities, the program also contributes to the development of ecotourism in the Ombak Mati Beach area in Bondo Village, through efforts to create a clean and waste-free coastal environment.
